Even the Romney faithful support Paul

Incredible! A facebook group of Latter Day Saints for Ron Paul!
And an LDS blog for Dr. No!!
What's next?? Neo-cons for Ron Paul!!??
Does everyone love freedom or what??!!

Hey, thanks for linking to my blog. I don't really think it's that strange for Latter-day Saints to support Ron Paul. Most of the LDS people I know love the Constitution, and consider it "divinely inspired," so the strange thing is not that LDS people would be supporting Ron Paul. The strange thing is that they would be supporting anyone else! :-)

I've seen quite a few Mormons in support of Ron Paul. I remember some 'Connor' fellow being in the initial crowd that starting blogging about Ron when it was announced he might run.

And, as per your remark about freedom... the beauty of it is that in a truly free society neocons would be free to be neocons so long as they aren't infringing on the liberties of others or harming the country.

I agree with the other comments.

The LDS faithful are very fond of the constitution the way it stands.
Many would vote for an LDS candidate, but one that holds up what is dear to them will always trump church membership.

I'd suspect the reason that so few of them would vote for RP is that they haven't actually heard him or his platform.

He does need to work on his transition details though in order to be taken seriously by a lot of people. Simply saying the Fed should go isn't enough. He needs to give a succinct and logical transition for its removal.
